The Mystery of Birth

In that timeless depth, God generates, gives birth to himself. Begotten, not made, so not created by the father, but begotten out of himself. So it's both mystery and at the same time it is something real and tangible from our point of view. The blessed and sovereign one, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, he alone is immortal and dwells in unapproachable light. No one has ever seen him, nor can anyone see him, to him be honor and eternal glory.
