The Importance of Using an IDE for Development
I think developers are very wedded to the IDE. As a program manager, when you have to work on five different projects at all of different technical setups, my laptops are a mess. I'd rather use a virtual machine to set these things up and do that. And also setting up their own computer all the time is really messing it up. Seems like a first-world problem, but at the same time, thinking machines is still a big thing for developers where we waste a lot of time. We should be better than that.
