How to Get a Grade Nine on GCSE
In the normal comprehensive school in England, the attainment gap at age 11 is round about seven years worth of learning. So you've got a kid who can't number one to ten or doesn't understand what numbers are - and you're teaching them all the nth term of sequence? You're a bloody idiot if you're doing that. And let's use a real blunt instrument here to essentially get a grade nine on GCSE. That child needs some serious, serious consideration. They need some intelligent thought about where they're truly at in the learning of mathematics. But only if you take it really seriously. Only if you say this iswhere they're truly the act.
