John Adams and the Renaissance
John Adams is a pompous fool at times, but he's not a pose. Paul Giamatti is a perfect John Adams. He wears his whole soul on his sleeve. And there's neurosis and self-pity and irascibility and envy of absolutely everybody who's accomplished anything that's not John Adams. But I love this about Adams. He's so accessible to us.
