Bertrand Echo's 14 traits of fascism are the cult of the hero, tradition and action for action's sake. The third wave also rejected modernism and went back to an old strict teaching style. There was definitely a little bit of newspeak going on as well. Jones does regret doing the experiment but still recommends people learn from it.
