How to Have a Healthy Conflict in a Small Company
I've worked in many large organizations where if a conflict arises HR is brought in, it seems to almost be the default and HR is then access that mediator. In companies where people don't have the skill sets or don't know how to engage in having these types of conversations that it escalates to the point where a third party needs to be there to facilitate the conversation. Sometimes, yes, getting a third party who's not your best friend or a buddy in the company to be the mediator is the right thing to do.
