FIA clampdown on celebration activity after jet erase. Mechanics have done for decades, run across the pit lane and climb up the pit wall to celebrate their driver crossing the line. It's never been allowed, or well, certainly not been allowed since the FA's International Sporting code forbade it. The FIA just became concerned that the mechanics high up, leaning on the fence, folds away towards the track in a bid to stop any debris falling off from cars. So, rather than risk anything particularly grave happening, they're just not 100% sure it can take the weight.
