How to Initialize a Reactive Value in an App?
Eric: I thought that was really interesting from a technical shiny perspective. If you have something where multiple processes in the app are going to hit that same common structure, what's the best way to set that up? Reactive values is by far my go to for that. The other nugget is we often use something like observe event in the context of like a button beam press or some other trigger, right? Well, silly old me never really realized until reading this that you could just have an observe event run at the very beginning of your shiny app. And then your app when it runs says, Oh, okay, that's a value in the true.
