I think the business thing had taken off before the PhD thing. And so I was always interested in branding and marketing. So there's sort of, it felt like two lives for a while there. To excel in any one, I needed to make a choice. But at the same time, I always felt that you needed to be able to support yourself. Then slow you down. Right livelihood.
