You Repent, You Believe and You Obedience

When we put our children at the centre of our lives, we enthrone them. We start to serve them, rather than serve the living god,. What our children need most is our obedience to christ. They need that more than they need whatever we think a they need in that moment. So what do you do when you find yourself there? You repent, you believe and you obey. That will hold up past the empty nesting years, and that will hold up when our children go through suffering. It's easy to forget that god has entrusted live souls to us.
