Productivity Is Meaningless Without a Goal
People are much more complex, and recognizing that you have multiple goals is critical to understanding how those goals fit in with each other. It's also important to notice that you are very unlikely to have a single goal this usually is not true for businesses. And so spending time playing vio games with your friends may seem like its taking you away from your goals if you're just looking at the one goal of trying to retire early. But it may also be taking you towards your goal of fostering good relationships with your friends. Sometimes playing video games is the most productive thing you can do.
