The vaccine appears to be safe for someone that is carrying a child on some one thats breast feeding. A small study of only 33 people suggested early this year, ther antibody production in adults who had the a vaccine does continue for a number of months,. up to six months. And so i suppose that's a kind of wait and see in terms of how protected a baby might be by receiving antibodies through the breast milk.

Early vaccine trials did not include pregnant or breastfeeding people which left some people asking whether COVID vaccines are safe and effective for those who are breastfeeding. The latest data suggests that they are and in this episode of Coronapod we dig into the questions scientists have been asking. Could the vaccine make it into breastmilk?
