The Importance of Democracy in Dealing With Climate Change
I want to maintain the belief that very, very clever people, intellectuals, can go into politics, can really do it, can make a difference. I thought he was very authentic. He talked about bold experimentation or cowpoper and small incremental changes. It's interesting to this question around democracy. What do you do really to try to deal with the fact that Alberta and indeed much the Canadian economy is pumping filthy fossil fuels? How do democratic politicians come to terms with that?
