The Crossbow and the Bloodbow

Cordelia turns around and shoots a crossbow into the flayed creature. The arrow sticks there and begins to dissolve very quickly. A little baby's arm forms out of it next to the wound. It keeps cooing and moving at you, it closes in another 20 feet. You notice that its legs are not necessarily even completely attached to it. And when it's done with them, the rotting legs just fall down behind it. So how far back from the rest of us is to bone to be right now? Probably about 30 to 40 feet.
