I was very interested until this day I still am for better or worse because I don't really like idolizing people too much but I've always been a big fan of nageal garbage. The way that he records to me is like the sound is somewhat vintage while also being modern and then it also is compressed very liberally but through vintage gear. It's just like that whole combination of things was very attractive to me so I would usually just take the most expensive microphone in the room and bring it through the most expensive preamp, bringing it through theMost expensive compressor and then put the most expensive reverb on it and hope that that's a good sound.
