I would have to stop myself in the middle of a visit and do some self talk, reset. And this person's dying. You can't fix that. Maybe you can assist or accompany this person on their journey. In some ways, butyou can't fix anything. V so just depends so much on the person. I wouldn't try to go to recent memory, because that's just frustrating to them. But most could remember childhood things. Most wanted a prayer. Most wanted some touch, you know, hold their hand. Some patience. Clients with dementia couldn't really converse, and i would give them a hand massage,. sing to them. If they could talk at all
