There are a lot of really, I mean, it's not perfect science, but conservationists have been pretty successful when there is a will and the funding. And also, is it a disaster if we have a zoo population of dodos? Who cares? Well, that's the other thing. A fair amount of animals that are on the brink of extinction only exist in zoos now anyway.
