The Importance of Having an Interest in the World

Schiller argues that what real beauty is has to be in some ways non empirical, right? It's like this platonic beauty that somehow reason itself teaches us that there must be this beauty. And so I see like for me, that would mean to instill the concept and the feeling and the joy of actually being interested in the world. The idea of having an interest is one of the main contributing factors to acquiring some sort of wholeness. That's what music did to me. Music ignited that flaming me to find beauty, to look for beauty, to get a sense of beauty.
