Alice Hamilton's Life and Work

In 19 11, the state of illinois passed legislation that required three things of employers. Many safety procedures were established because of the work she did during those years. During rewarm rum, hamilton turned her attentions to the industries associated with war for investigation. She submitted reports outlining the dangers of the various chemicals involved and how those dangers might be addressed for work or safety.
