English was more or less my first language even though it wasn't what was spoken at home until my parents kind of picked it up. So really, I was kind of primed for America in a way. Can we do solitary daughters? Sure, yeah. The song is beautiful. This is one of my favorites. With the conviction of the woman you made me, I find blades of grass from the island you find on every floor. In every drawer. Though I'm not an iron, I'm a body of water. A jeweled in the evening of solitary daughter. Leave me alone to the books and the radio snow. And that's where we were the whole time.
