You founded the Chicago-based organization Intercity Muslim Action Network, also called Iman. At the core of Iman's mission statement is health, wellness and healing in the inner city. We've run campaigns from criminal justice reform campaigns, immigration campaigns, the food justice work as well as addressing the food deserts. And now we're opening our own fresh market as a model of what the radically reimagined corner store can look and feel like.
