How Young's Red Book Parallels the Journey to the Land of the Dead

Young was certainly no stranger to life after death. He was involved with seances, and this was all, i think, while he was a medical student. And then his dissertation, of course, was on the so called occult phenomena. So yung wrote about death, and as i said, it coincided with the death of the important people in his life.
