What Happened After the Soviets Withdrew?
The us. Med and trained thousands of muja hadden fighters who drew the soviets into a prolonged counter insurgency battle, eventually leading to the soviet forces pulling their forces out in 19 89. But what happened after they left? Well, well, this is a period of time that's often not looked at very closely. There is an assumption that the russians left and the taliban came in. And that wasn't really trueon the one of the most interesting things that happened, which is little bit relevant for to day.
