The Advantages of Defining Free Will

Sceptics often define free will in terms of a libertarian ability to do otherwise, or counterpuzzle. I think it's better to have a definition that all parties can sot, o subscribe to at the beginning - and leaves open the central question of whether we have it. By defining a free will in Terms of moral responsibility, the definition captures the practical importance of the debate. Soit anchors the philosophical question in things obviously practically and comparatively concrete and undeniably important to our lives.
