Josh Spencer from Fort Wayne asks in the marginal gains podcast. He says he is a wannabe triathlete and I'm doing my best to buy speed wherever possible. A listener asked when using tire inserts they are effectively reducing the internal volume inside the tire. How do we account for this when using something like the silica tire pressure calculator? Oh that's a good question and actually based on a not true assumption so 20 psi with inserts is exactly the same as 20 psi without inserts.
