Barne's favorite oz monster is called goozel goblins, which is another creature from the books. They can't be killed unless you cut out their tongues, a fun little mechanicer. My analogue for goblin in the dark carabian are basically kind of what you describe. Like pi, pirate monkeys, they steel pirate gear and swinger element hook from 19 91.
