The Sword of the Dead

To godfrey von kamback, life had faded to a single meaning. The swinging of his great sword in the wide breach of the carthanage tower, he fought until time lost all meaning. For long ages, maddened faces rose snarling before him. He hardly knew it when count salm was death, stricken at his side by a bursting bomb.
