The Source and Character of Wealth
Common theme in book of proverbs is substance and character. Wealth obtained through wrong doing, wealth not backed up by diligence are short-term gains. A righteous person invested in their household may enjoy great prosperity with little money to his name. Many of the things that are most valuable are not things that appear on a bank balance. Arrogant and unteachable fools produce violent and unsettled communities.
