We're All Sick and We Are All Overdue
The subtitle of your book is a surplus manifesto. What we're trying to do is sort of push this broader understanding of surplus, which is usually a negative term. It's describing people that are in essence considered non-important or non-essential to the economy in some capacity. Some people don't have the luck to ever become surplus, which not everyone has the chance to sort of age or become disabled. Many people are killed or die as a result of slow death or extraction before they ever get a chance to become surplus.
