"There's an intimacy with opera that brings the, i guess, the audience, in close contact with the subject and the emotional tenor of that subject. So there's a sense you're going to be able to experience the suffering and the isolation that can come to people suffering from thisth," says composer kermad iges. "I think we do have this sort of a stereotyped image of what opera does and how it presents coming from performances at the big opera halls", he adds.
