Is Sex Really Just About Sex?
A lot of men grow up feeling like the only culturally permissible way for them to want to connect with a woman if they're heterosexual is through sex. A man or anyone who doesn't feel very comfortable or safe expressing emotion will feel safer in that moment. For me it's really like I feel like I have this baseline level where it's like if our connection is above a certain level then great like I'm not even thinking about sex or connection what comes first, she says.
