Italy, You Are More Than the You Needs Italy?

Italy has had, I don't know if contentious is the right word, but not a fantastic or a great relationship with the ECB. Italian governments have tended to want to spend more. What's changed today is that as a response to very rapidly rising inflation, central banks across the world have had to raise rates and tighten monetary policy. This again risks exposing those countries that have a very large public debt to financial market pressures once again.
