Extrinsic Motivations in Schools
We should be learning about intrinsic extrinsic motivations when we're at school I absolutely think we should. Over time a phenomenon known as the over justification effect can start to decrease in individuals motivation to behave um and the reward loses its luster so this is kind of what we talked about just before but it actually diminishes the intrinsic motivation. Too much extrinsic motivation can diminish the intrinsic motivation to do that thing.
