Is It Part of Making Order Out of Time?

I think her life would have been very different if she'd had a sister. The relationship that Elaine had with her brother was identical to the one I had with mine. These days, they're more likely to die in random violent events. And a last life is not orderly. Art is an attempt to make order out of it, but it does not, by any means, always succeed.
