Can Flexible Spending Accounts Be Used Tax-Free?
FSA is a benefit an employer offers where you can put a certain amount of money into a pre-tax account, but it has to be used for that current year. If you never use the money or all of it in a year, the employer just scarfs it and it's their money. HSA is the opposite. The rewards with an HSA are all set up to not use the money and let it continue to grow. But if you need the money, you can use it and you benefit.
