The Importance of Romantic Interest in Dating
Ellie: For me, ghosting is the practice of cutting off communication with somebody that you've already established that you are interested in as well. And I don't think a first date clears the bar for that necessarily. If you go on a date with somebody, that's an expression of some kind of interest. So if it doesn't develop for you, then you have a responsibility to tell them, hey, it didn't work out for me.
