How to Set the Run Time of an Event Based on the Track Record?

Apple has not done lengthy run time events in the modern era. They've done a lot that are about an hour, and they've done a few that are more like 90 minutes. The question is, how do i set the run time of this event based on the track record? I'm just stalling now, aren't i?
