The Benefits of Raising a Salary in Silicon Valley
Out of Khan Academy's 65 million budget, 70% goes to salaries for highly paid employees. You're not going to be able to pay anyone a salary until someone's giving money or you have some other revenue stream. We pay depending on the year, five to 10 million dollars just in server costs. At the peak of the pandemic, we had 90 million learning minutes on Khan Academy per day.
