I don't buy that for a second because the Mithras and Isis. And I know from ancient works that they had analogous initiation rights and had visions. They must have been absent playing hooky on the day somebody explained what an ideal type was. The point is let's make an admittedly artificial list of what they do have in common and use that as a yardstick to measure their variations from it. You can like with Buddhism is a religion.
