What Should We Practically Be Doing?
i find personally disappointing and frustrating, not from a critic sing safety point of view. i think this is something that organizations genuinely struggle really hard with. We can change the environment when work happens. Sometimes we can change the tools and equipment people have. But then sometimes we find that work is happening in places where it's reliant on that front line risk related behavior. Can't we just tell them, put the damn hose away? Why does that not work? Yes, i can't fully explain why it doesn't, but the evidence says it doesn't. Well, we wouldn't have that many problems in organizations at all if humans were that a wet that' simple.
