An operating agreement is essentially, in the most simple way, kind of the rules of your company. Lik: "I would very, very much a advise partners, especially at the beginning, to outline expectations for themselves and for each other" An operating agreement outlines who the owners are, who the managers are, who put money into this. And then it goes into things as detailed as what should happen if somebody wants to sell their equity? What happens if wo want to bring on another partner? What happensif someone wants to buy out the company? All of these things.
