Generalized Estimating Equations (GE)
GE stands for generalized estimating equations. Unlike least squares, you don't have to be right about what that structure looks like. The interpretation can sometimes change depending on if random effects are in the model or not. Michaelis: I think one of the themes that I really resonate with is that these methods should be considered as alternatives and we don't teach them enough.
