Palades is a mind body practice, meaning you are being intentional and using your awareness to effect change in the physical body. I think yoga is a little bit more main stream, although palades is sort of coming up behind it. Each individual person is their own best teacher when it comes to what they need in any given exercise or any given moment. Because i'm not in their body. I can't feel what they're feeling. As an instructor, i i love to have my students eventually become independent and be able to rely on their own understanding of their body.
