Bob Greene: I would like to see myself not replaced by an AI host anytime soon. But he says humans find a way, even with machines doing a lot of stuff to be useful and needed. In the 20th century, human labor became seen as a unit that had to be efficiently allocated throughout a set of machine processes; ultimately keeping the machines running was the most important thing. This is the big shift that we have to kind of get our heads around what's really different to what we saw in the 20th Century.
