My Friend's Father Was Too Merciful

Therewas something had gone wrong between my friend rob and his father. And he was very resentful about his father and very angry about him. i think it was because his father was too merciful, as far as i could tell. That destroyed my friend chris's respect for him. He seemed like a kind man but there wasn't a lot of spirit to him.
