Leviticus Chapter 5 - Restitution

Numbers. Chapter five tains laws relating to three different issues, to maintaining the cleanness of the camp and addressing debts in situations where they had been a breach of faith. The first of these matters concerns the removal of those who are leprous, those who have discharges and those who are unclean on account of contact with the dead. This law is not recorded in an abstract legal context. Immediately after the law is given, we are told that the people observed it, putting unclean persons outside of the camp as the had commanded them.
