Is There Anything I Can Do About It?
The repair work was very connected with the spiritual practice of self examination and confession, which I think is extremely valuable among Christians. We could call this confession from a biblical standpoint that I'm now confessing something that happened inside me that I brought to the relationship that was destructive. And it's healing to give them a chance to express what it was like to be on the other side of that poor behavior or whatever. These are very powerful relational tools that have the potential to change the dynamic that we all get caught in.
