The Dollar Is at Its Lowest Since April 2022

The dollar was at these highs against the Euro, pound, and yen last year. What did that mean for those countries and for the wider economy? So what it meant was those countries' currencies were being devalued. And in a lot of those places, it also meant that inflation was being driven higher just because of the stronger dollar. There was also a huge effect on emerging markets, right? so there was the currency effect that we see sort of all over the world outside of the United States. But now it's February 2023 and the story's changed. The dollar's at its lowest point since April 2022.
