I know as a parent you feel like you got to fill your kids lives with enlightening activities. And I imagine if I'm sort of wondering why my parents did all this stuff. But there was this sense for me as a kid of like not caring how cool the opportunity was. What I wanted was to be home and realize that more than anything that's what my kids want to. The idea of you don't always have to do anything further, fancier, more expensive is not necessarily better.
