The Blue Wall of Presidential Campaigns

There just fewer states that are in play in a presidential campaign. The 2016 election, the 2020 election and the 2024 election will see real battles in like half a dozen states. Most of the country never sees the candidates except kind of if they're watching kind of national cable and watch it that way. It's possible that Michigan won't really be in play in 2024.
